WHAT'S THAT NAME YOU'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO GIVE SOMETHING?
We all find words or phrases or subjects that just beg to have something named after them. Whether you've found any thing worthy to be called by that something or not is irrelevant. I would like to know the name.
(My personal favorites: Andromeda, Revelation, Pistachio, anything Hebrew in origin really)
On to my life:
Well, I'm not going to India. It's a little sad, and I was upset at first, but I'm too excited for the people who made it, and far too busy with EVERYTHING else to cry over spilt milk. I've got a really neat drawing I'm working on for the YEP though. I wish I could finish it faster... I wish I could finish anything faster. Oh well.
Marching season is over. I am no longer Drum Major. I cried at our last contest, but my band was amazing. They beat out bands a class ahead of us, and brought home the highest score our school has EVER managed. I'm very proud of them. I just wish it could have lasted longer.
I'm panicked right now, just waiting for my ACT score to come in, because college deadlines are closing in, and I do want so badly to get out of this town. Family situations are gradually getting worse and worse as we all become more frustrated with each other, an I'm looking forward more than anything to being broke and independent.
I need a job. Now that marching band isn't eating up my free time, I need to get something saved up for the "higher education" section of my life. Any recommendations? I'm not much of a people person, so the food industry might not be the best for me, but I'm willing to give it a shot. The two places in town that I might like to end upare the library, and the local vetrinarian clinic. I think I could handle those, but I'd love to hear suggestions from those more experienced than I. What say you?
